Creative Conversations: Lectures, Forums and More

To help its audiences get information that enhances enjoyment of performances, and sometimes even for the rewards of sharing and exchanging ideas and information, PASA frequently includes lectures, forums and other conversations as part of its outreach activity.

These include Creative Conversations, discussions led by noted experts and artists held at the Heymann Center before the performance or at various locations throughout Acadiana in the weeks leading up to the show. These "conversations" provide the background information on the featured performance and related topics and offer our more knowledgeable patrons in depth information about the performances. These free sessions give attendees the opportunity to meet and interact with the featured speakers, artists and like-minded citizens.
